"DJI, the well-known drone manufacturer, recently launched the DJI FlyCart 30, officially entering the drone delivery market. This new model offers two delivery modes: a containerized cargo mode and a crane/winch mode. The FlyCart 30 is capable of carrying impressive loads of up to 30 kg over a maximum distance of 16 km.
With its X8 multirotor configuration, the DJI FlyCart 30 is a powerful player in the world of drone delivery. The drone can fly even further, up to 28 km, when used without a payload and is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 20 m/s. This makes it ideally suited for efficient delivery operations.
A notable feature of the FlyCart 30 is the choice between two delivery modes. In container/cargo mode, the standard EPP container can hold an impressive volume of 70 liters, with internal dimensions of approximately 573 mm in length, 412 mm in width and 306 mm in height. The cargo box is equipped with a weight and center of gravity detection system to ensure safe and stable flight. The winch system, on the other hand, uses a cable release method and offers both automatic and manual control options. With a maximum retractable weight capacity of 40 kg and a maximum shedding length of 20 meters, this drone is ready for various delivery challenges.
In terms of connectivity, the DJI FlyCart 30 offers the option of direct radio connectivity via the O3 transmission system, but users can also opt for 4G mobile network connectivity. Safety is paramount, with a standard emergency parachute to handle potential emergencies.
Although the DJI FlyCart 30 is currently only available in China, this impressive drone points to a promising future for the drone delivery industry. With its powerful specifications and versatile delivery options, it is poised to transform the world of delivery."
