Compatible cameras and sensors
The M300 RTK is designed for the new H20 series cameras. In addition, it can use Zenmuse XT, XT2 and Z30 and SkyPort sensors from third-party manufacturers - up to 3 at a time! The dual gimbal and upward-mounting gimbal are optional.
New payloads with multiple sensors
With the H20 series, DJI launches a new camera series especially for the M300. Both cameras have multiple sensors, which you can quickly switch between in the app:
20 MP zoom camera for observation and inspection
- 1 / 1.7 "CMOS with 20 MP and 4K30 video
- 23x optical hybrid zoom
- 200x maximum zoom (incl. Digital Zoom)
- Night mode (IR cut)
12 MP wide-angle camera for a quick overview
- 1 / 2.3" CMOS with 12 MP
- f/2.8, 24 mm wide (35 mm equivalent), 82.9° FOV
Laser distance meter
- 905nm wavelength
- Measuring range 3-1200m
- Measuring accuracy + - (0,2 m + D x 0,15%) D = distance from a vertical surface
Thermal camera for inspection, people search etc.
- Uncooled VOx microbolometer
- Resolution 640 x 512 pixels, refresh rate of 30 Hz
- 13.5 mm focal length, 40.6° FOV
Mapping Payload Zenmuse P1
New user interface
All important data is clearly displayed in the new app and you can quickly and easily switch between wide-angle camera, zoom camera and thermal sensor.
Smart track
The most impressive feature of the H20 series in combination with the DJI M300 is the tracking function of the zoom camera. Amazingly precise, stable and fast, even at enormous distances, it surpasses anything that existed before. The camera automatically detects vehicles, ships or people and keeps them centred after selecting a target object. The position of the object is also displayed in the map view.
Pin-point location marking
Location markers can be easily set in the map view or via the laser range finder. Coordinates and distance can be displayed both in real time and on the map.
Fast sharing of locations
In combination with Pin Point or Smart Track, the location of fixed or moving objects can be quickly communicated to other ground personnel via DJI FlightHub.
AI Spot Check, Waypoints 2.0 and high resolution grid photos
This function makes inspection tasks extremely easy and significantly improves the display result. You only have to select an area and the software automatically calculates an individual grid based on the focal length of the zoom camera just set. Several overlapping single pictures are then taken with the zoom camera and saved together with an overview picture from the wide-angle camera.
The innovative AI Spot Check waypoint function makes it easier to find the same target areas repeatedly. The sensor system automatically recognises objects previously detected during a waypoint mission.
New smart controller with OcuSync Enterprise
The new remote control has a range of up to 8 km (CE) and can stream up to 3 video sources (including FPV camera) in 1080p in dual controller mode. A second remote control can not only be used for the dual operator mode, but can also take over control of the drone at the push of a button.
Omnidirectional obstacle detection
Cameras and infrared sensors on all six sides greatly enhance operational safety. The maximum distance to object detection is 40m, and the drone's behaviour during detections can be adjusted according to user requirements. In addition, the M300 anti-collision flashers and additional lighting above and below were used to support the vision sensors.
Redundant sensors and batteries
The Matrice 300 has all important sensors in duplicate: 2x position sensor, 2x barometer, 2x compass, 2x RTK antenna and GNSS module.
It is also powered by 2 x TB60 12S batteries. If one battery fails, the M300 can still land safely with the remaining battery.
Significantly improved protection against water and dust particles
Thanks to a modified design with internal ESCs, the M300 achieves protection class IP45. The cameras of the H20 series are classified in protection class IP44.
Rapid charging case
The charging and transport case accommodates 8 x TB60 batteries and 4 x WB37 batteries. It simultaneously charges 4 x TB60 batteries and 4 x WB37 battery. It takes 60 minutes for full charge, 30 minutes for fast charge from 20% to 90%. This allows for continuous flying with the DJI Matrice 300.
