DJI Matrice 30 series
The Matrice 30 is the little brother of the DJI Matrice 300 but has different functionality. The DJI M30T is aimed more at police, firefighters and emergency services to provide a compact and quickly deployable system with almost the same camera quality as the large DJI Zenmuse H20T. The camera of the DJI M30T is not interchangeable so you will have to choose between 2 options when purchasing, the DJI M30 or the DJI M30T. The latter is equipped with a thermal camera. Note that this thermal camera is not so suitable for accurate temperature measurements. For inspections where temperature plays a major role, the H20T or the DJI Mavic 2 Advanced is better suited.
The DJi Matrice 30 features a 48 mega pixel camera with 16x optical zoom. Next to that you have a 12 mega pixel wide view camera to quickly get an overview when you have zoomed in on a certain point. Furthermore, the M30 has a laser range finder that can measure up to a distance of 1200m. The other variant is the DJI M30t, which has all the aforementioned options but also has a 640 x 512 pixel thermal camera on board.
The FPV camera is a low-light camera that allows the pilot to fly even in the dark.
The DJI M30 has a max speed of 25m/s and can withstand wind gusts of 15m/s. The max flight time is 41 minutes. The M30 is IP55 water and dust proof and can withstand temperatures from -20 to 50 degrees celcius.
The new DJI RC Plus transmitter has occusync 3 on board and a large screen and lasts up to 6h.
The new Pilot 2 app is integrated into the DJI RC Plus.
